Allyn Haist focuses her practice on IP registration and protection, contract negotiation and drafting, and entertainment law, specifically providing production legal services.

Allyn has worked with clients of varying sizes and institutional knowledge, giving her the background to understand how to individually cater her services to each client’s needs. She is passionate about connecting with her clients, developing a keen awareness of their goals, and achieving those goals with practical, candid legal advice.

Prior to joining IdeaLegal, Allyn was an Associate at Bruns Brennan Berry Pikulin & Jacobs PC, where she provided production legal services to studios and independent producers alike, ranging from rights acquisition through physical production to legal delivery. Formerly, she worked as a legal intern for Voltage Pictures and was a law clerk for Miller Haga Law Group, LLP.

Allyn earned her Bachelor of Arts in Feminist Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and her Juris Doctorate with honors in Entertainment and Media Law from Southwestern Law School.
