Bethany Reisberg joined IdeaLegal in 2018 as an administrative coordinator and paralegal, and part of IdeaLegal’s Amazon IP Accelerator Team for Amazon Brand Registry. With over 11 years’ experience as a legal assistant, Bethany oversees firm administrative matters such as billing, technology, and supplies; and provides litigation and paralegal support including document preparation and review, filing, and calendaring. Bethany is also involved with the firm’s trademark and copyright clients, from small businesses to corporate entities, assisting with deadline reporting, docketing, and filings.
Prior to joining IdeaLegal, Bethany worked as a legal assistant in the trial department at Stoel Rives LLP, focusing on complex commercial litigation matters. She assisted in all phases of litigation, from inception through discovery and trial, including organization and analysis of case material, large-scale document production, pre-trial preparation and in-courtroom trial support.
A Portland native, Bethany is dedicated to the individuals and organizations that strengthen our community. She is an avid fan of the arts and has over 27 years of experience as a professional tap dancer and instructor. She is also a member of The Portland Tap Company and serves on the board of Portland Tap Alliance, a non-profit organization which aims to promote the art of tap dance in the Pacific Northwest and globally, paying special attention to the Portland-metro area. When she’s not at the office or on the dance floor, Bethany enjoys spending time with her husband and young daughter.
