Sonia Busschau joined IdeaLegal in 2019 as the administrative coordinator.  With over 15 years of management experience in hospitality, Sonia ensures the smooth operation of the firm, overseeing all administrative duties, such as billing, calendaring, document preparation, and client relations. She approaches all aspects of the job with a positive, hardworking mindset and a passion to find solutions to any challenge.  Sonia is a key member of IdeaLegal’s Amazon IP Accelerator Team for Amazon Brand Registry.

With a background in Psychology and Gerontology, Sonia received her degree at Portland State University. Over the years, she has spent time volunteering with both hospice and the head start program.

Born into a maritime family, Sonia traveled from the shores of New Jersey to Alaska, providing life experience that offered diversity in language and culture, and enabling her to communicate well with people of all backgrounds.

A wife, mother, and friend, Sonia enjoys creating memories and fostering traditions with family and friends in her free time.
